Trustee and Treasurer vacancy

The Pelvic Partnership provides women and healthcare professionals with information about best practice for the treatment and management of pregnancy-related Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP). We are a friendly and welcoming team of volunteers with a common interest of providing information to women with PGP and enabling and empowering women to access the right treatment.

We are currently looking for a new Treasurer to join our committee. We are looking for someone with an interest in and understanding of our cause and mission statement.

What does this opportunity involve?

The Treasurer is an honorary Trustee who takes the lead in overseeing the financial affairs of our charity. You will work alongside our co-ordinator approving financial transactions and overseeing our accounts database, ensuring it is kept up to date throughout the financial year (1st April – 31st March).

You will liaise with our co-ordinator and other honorary officers (Chair and Secretary) at the financial end of year compiling our end-of-year report ready to be independently audited. This is required ahead of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in June each year.

You are expected to attend at least three committee meetings, one away day and our AGM each year. The committee meetings, which are held in the evening, can be attended via on-line video conferencing but the away day/s and AGM must be attended in person. Meetings usually take place in Harwell/Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Please see our Trustee and Treasurer role description and person specification for more information.
