On 29th August, our Trustee Angeline O’Connor met with representatives from the Scottish Government in Edinburgh to discuss the care, support and treatment of women and birthing people with pelvic girdle pain (PGP) in Scotland.

Angeline has been a very active member of the Women’s Health Plan Stakeholder Group, facilitated by the Health and Social Care Alliance since it was established and has worked tirelessly outside of this forum to raise awareness about PGP and its treatment in Scotland.

At this meeting, Angeline underlined the importance of sharing appropriate information about PGP and its treatment on the NHS Inform website and discussing PGP in all publications relating to pelvic health.
