Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain (PGP) can be safely and effectively treated with hands-on individualised treatment, including manual therapy from a physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor.
If you suspect you have PGP, you can ask for a referral for NHS physiotherapy from your GP or midwife.
Alternatively, if you are able to pay for private treatment, you can see a private physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor from our list of recommended practitioners.
All practitioners on this list have successfully treated women and birthing people with PGP and have been recommended by at least two women with PGP.
