Here is Fiona's story:
"I experienced PGP in both pregnancies, ending up on crutches and in a wheelchair. I saw some very kind NHS physiotherapists who were sympathetic and understanding but "couldn't treat someone who was pregnant" except with advice about keeping my knees together. When I finally accessed a practitioner who examined how my pelvis was functioning and did some manipulations to unstick an over-rotated sacro-iliac joint, I recovered. The frustration I feel that this happened and is still happening has kept me volunteering for the Pelvic Partnership ever since, even though my younger child is in her twenties."
