We offer support and information to women experiencing pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, giving women and birthing people the tools and confidence to get the care, support and treatment they need.

Our impact

Each month more than 1,000 people access the information about pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain and its treatment on our website, including our downloadable resources and list of recommended practitioners.  This is in addition to the more than 30,000 people who view our content on Instagram and Facebook.

We also facilitate a moderated Facebook support group, which is a very active community of women with pelvic girdle pain of more than 4100 members, with new posts and new member requests each day.

In addition, we respond to direct requests for support on our telephone helpline, on email, on direct message on social media and shortly we will be launching peer support over whatsapp.

Hear from our service users

To understand the real impact of our work, hear what our service users think.

Frantically googling one evening after an unbearable day I stumbled across the Pelvic Partnership’s website. Hope washed over me, I had finally found helpful tools, advice on treatment and a community of women who had experienced the reality of severe pelvic girdle pain.
Charlotte, service user
I really appreciated the support from the Pelvic Partnership who provided that real knowledge, empathy (no one else get’s it!!) and understanding when I needed to really push and vouch for myself – and to not give up with my recovery!
Rebecca, service user
The information from the Pelvic Partnership was hugely helpful in working out if we could manage another pregnancy – my little daughter is proof that we made it!
Laura, service user
After finding the Pelvic Partnership website I felt confident to raise it in my week 16 midwife appointment and I was referred to NHS physio right away. Meanwhile I also sought out the recommended practitioners list from the website after I asked a question on the Pelvic Partnership Facebook group and found someone near to where I work. I responded hugely well to the treatment.
